A clean GoHighLevel Elementor integration means every enquiry on your Elementor-built WordPress site lands in HighLevel as a tagged, attributed contact, ready for a workflow to follow up within seconds. Get it wrong and leads sit in a WordPress inbox, or arrive in the CRM with no source, no tags and half the fields missing.

This guide walks through the four realistic ways to connect Elementor to HighLevel, how to map fields and capture UTMs, how to test properly, and what each option costs.

Four ways to connect Elementor to HighLevel

There is no one-click Elementor app inside HighLevel.

Here are the four options we see in practice:

  • Elementor Pro Form + Webhook: keep your styled Elementor form and post each submission to a HighLevel Inbound Webhook URL.
  • Embed HighLevel assets: drop a HighLevel form, survey, calendar or chat widget into an Elementor HTML widget.
  • Zapier or Make: catch the Elementor submission in middleware and create or update the HighLevel contact from there.
  • LeadConnector WordPress plugin: HighLevel's own plugin, which embeds chat widgets, forms and calendars via shortcodes.

If your site is WordPress but not built on Elementor, the broader GoHighLevel WordPress integration guide covers theme-agnostic options in more depth.

Method 1: Elementor Pro Form webhook to the HighLevel Inbound Webhook trigger

This is the method most agencies want, because the client keeps the form design they paid for. The Elementor side is built into the Form widget; the HighLevel side is a workflow that starts with the Inbound Webhook trigger.

Step 1: Create the HighLevel workflow

In HighLevel, go to Automation, create a new workflow and add the Inbound Webhook trigger. HighLevel's help centre describes it as accepting POST, GET or PUT requests sent to a URL that is unique to each trigger.

Copy that URL. You will paste it into Elementor next, then come back to load sample data.

Step 2: Add the Webhook action in Elementor

Open the page in Elementor, select the Form widget and find Actions After Submit. Add Webhook alongside your existing Email action, then paste the HighLevel URL into the Webhook URL field.

Elementor also offers an Advanced Data toggle on this action, which adds form metadata to the payload. Leave it off for your first test; the simpler payload is easier to map, and you can switch it on later if you need the form name or ID.

Elementor documents the available form actions in its developer documentation on form actions.

Step 3: Send a test and load sample data

Submit the live form once with obvious test values. Back in HighLevel, click Test Trigger on the Inbound Webhook, then select the incoming request and save it as sample data, as outlined in HighLevel's Inbound Webhook trigger article.

Step 4: Create or update the contact

Add a Create/Update Contact action and map each incoming key to a HighLevel field: first name, last name, email, phone, and any custom fields. Email or phone is what HighLevel uses to match existing contacts, so make one of them required in Elementor.

If you want the full background on payloads, retries and outbound calls, our guide to HighLevel inbound and outbound webhooks goes deeper than we can here.

The webhook only moves data. The value comes from what the workflow does in the first five minutes after the lead arrives.

Field mapping, tags and UTM attribution for Elementor leads

Most broken Elementor integrations we audit are not broken connections. They are missing fields, inconsistent tags and no record of where the lead came from.

Name your Elementor field IDs deliberately

Each Elementor form field has an ID under its Advanced tab. Rename the defaults to clear values such as first_name, email and service before you test, because changing them later breaks your saved mapping.

Tag at the point of entry

Straight after Create/Update Contact, add tags that describe the form and the intent, for example web-elementor and enquiry-quote. Tags are what your later workflows, smart lists and reporting hang off, so agree a naming convention before you build.

Capture UTMs and source

Elementor forms support hidden fields, and hidden fields can be pre-filled with dynamic values such as URL parameters. Add hidden fields for utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign, plus the page URL.

Map those to HighLevel custom fields and set the contact source to something consistent such as "Website – Elementor". Without this, your Google Ads and Meta leads all look identical inside the CRM.

Method 2: Embedding HighLevel forms, calendars and chat in Elementor

If the client is not attached to the Elementor form design, embedding a HighLevel asset is the most reliable path.

Copy the embed code for the form, survey or calendar from HighLevel, then paste it into an Elementor HTML widget. Set the section to full width on mobile so the iframe has room to resize.

Because the submission is a native HighLevel form, you can trigger follow-up with the standard Form Submitted workflow trigger rather than a premium one.

The trade-off

Styling is the cost. The form renders inside an iframe, so Elementor's global fonts and colours do not apply; you style it inside the HighLevel form builder instead.

Methods 3 and 4: Zapier, Make and the LeadConnector plugin

Zapier or Make as middleware

Middleware makes sense when one Elementor submission needs to go to several places, say HighLevel, a Google Sheet and a project tool, or when you need filters before the contact is created. Elementor posts to a catch-hook URL, and the middleware creates or updates the HighLevel contact.

Zapier's pricing page lists a Free plan with 100 tasks a month and paid plans starting at US$19.99 a month (October 2026). Our HighLevel Zapier integration walkthrough covers authentication and the available HighLevel actions.

For a single form going only to HighLevel, middleware is usually unnecessary, since the direct webhook does the same job with one less moving part.

The LeadConnector WordPress plugin

LeadConnector is HighLevel's official WordPress plugin. Its WordPress.org listing describes it as connecting WordPress to your account and embedding chat widgets, forms, calendars, surveys, quizzes and reviews, with a [leadconnector_form] shortcode for forms (October 2026).

The listing also notes Elementor-specific compatibility support. In practice we use it for the site-wide chat widget and drop its shortcodes into an Elementor Shortcode widget; it does not forward submissions from Elementor's own Form widget.

Testing your Elementor to HighLevel connection

Never sign off an integration on one test submission. Run this checklist on the live page, not just the Elementor preview:

  • Submit with a brand-new email and confirm a new contact is created.
  • Submit again with the same email and confirm the contact updates rather than duplicates.
  • Visit with UTM parameters in the URL and check the hidden fields arrive in the right custom fields.
  • Check tags, source and any pipeline opportunity the workflow creates.
  • Confirm the internal notification and the lead's auto-reply both send.
  • Test on mobile, with any caching or security plugin active.

Multi-site plan prices vary across sources, so check Elementor's live pricing page before quoting. On the HighLevel side, agencies can enable premium features and choose whether to rebill them to sub-accounts at cost or with a markup.

For a typical small-business site, the premium execution cost is minor: a site producing a few hundred webhook leads a month adds only a few dollars at the published rate.

The same decision framework applies to other form plugins. If the client uses Gravity Forms on some pages, our Gravity Forms to HighLevel setup follows a very similar webhook pattern.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Buying Elementor Essential for webhooks: Elementor's pricing page says Essential excludes form submissions and marketing integrations.
  • Leaving default field IDs: renaming fields after mapping breaks the workflow silently.
  • No email or phone required: without one, HighLevel cannot match or create the contact reliably.
  • Skipping UTMs: every lead shows as "website" and you cannot prove which campaign paid off.
  • Running two paths at once: a webhook plus a Zap on the same form creates duplicate workflow runs.
  • Testing only in the editor: caching and security plugins often block the live submission.

Frequently asked questions

Does GoHighLevel have a native Elementor integration?

No, there is no dedicated Elementor app inside HighLevel. You connect the two with Elementor Pro's Webhook form action, by embedding HighLevel forms or calendars in an HTML widget, through Zapier or Make, or with the LeadConnector WordPress plugin.

How do I connect Elementor to HighLevel without Zapier?

Add a workflow in HighLevel with the Inbound Webhook trigger and copy its URL. In the Elementor Form widget, add a Webhook action under Actions After Submit and paste that URL. Submit a test, load the sample data in HighLevel, then map the fields in a Create/Update Contact action.

Is the Inbound Webhook trigger free in HighLevel?

HighLevel classes Inbound Webhook as a Premium Trigger. Its pricing guide lists premium workflow features at US$0.01 per execution as of October 2026, and agencies can rebill that to sub-accounts.

Which Elementor plan do I need for form webhooks?

You need an Elementor Pro plan that includes form integrations. Elementor's pricing page states that the Essential plan excludes form submissions and marketing software integrations, so start from Advanced Solo or above.

Can I track UTM parameters from Elementor forms in HighLevel?

Yes. Add hidden fields to the Elementor form that pull UTM values from the URL, then map them to HighLevel custom fields in the workflow. Set a consistent contact source as well so reporting stays clean.

Should I embed a HighLevel form instead of using an Elementor form?

If design control is not critical, embedding a HighLevel form is usually more reliable because the data is created natively in the CRM. The trade-off is styling, which you manage in the HighLevel form builder rather than Elementor.

What does the LeadConnector plugin do on an Elementor site?

The LeadConnector plugin connects WordPress to your HighLevel account and embeds chat widgets, forms, calendars and other assets via shortcodes. It is ideal for a site-wide chat widget, but it does not forward Elementor's own form submissions.
