A solid GoHighLevel Framer integration lets you keep the polished Framer site your designer built while every lead still lands in your HighLevel CRM, pipeline and follow-up Workflows. There's no official one-click connector, but there are four reliable ways to connect Framer to HighLevel, and each suits a different kind of business.

This guide walks through all four: embedding GHL forms and calendars, sending native Framer forms to a webhook, adding the chat widget and tracking scripts, and knowing when to move landing pages into GHL funnels instead. We'll finish with a realistic cost breakdown so you know what the stack actually costs each month.

Four ways to connect Framer to HighLevel

Before you build anything, decide where the form logic should live. The method you choose changes how much you maintain, what your forms look like and how cleanly attribution flows into GHL.

If you've followed our GoHighLevel Webflow integration guide, you'll recognise the pattern. Framer behaves much the same, with a couple of quirks worth knowing about.

Method 1: Embed GHL forms, surveys and calendars in Framer

This is the option I recommend for most clients. The form lives in GoHighLevel, so submissions create or update contacts natively, fire your form-submitted triggers and respect your custom fields without any middleware.

Step-by-step setup

  • In GHL, open Sites → Forms (or Surveys, or Calendars), build and save the form, then copy the embed code from the Integrate option.
  • In Framer, open the Insert menu, search for Embed and drag the component onto your page.
  • Switch the Embed component to the HTML tab and paste the full GHL embed code, including the script tag.
  • Set a fixed height on the Embed component (or a generous min-height) so long forms don't get clipped.
  • Publish the site and test on the live URL, not the canvas.

That last point matters. Framer's help article on adding an iframe or embed script notes that some scripts don't run inside the editor, so a blank box on the canvas is normal. Check the published page before you panic.

Getting the form right in GHL first

Your embed is only as good as the form behind it. Map every field to a proper custom field, add hidden fields for UTMs, and set the on-submit action to a thank-you page or message. Our GoHighLevel forms and surveys setup guide covers field mapping and sticky contacts in detail.

For calendars, embed the booking widget the same way. Give it a taller Embed component on mobile using Framer's breakpoints, because the calendar expands once someone picks a date.

Method 2: Native Framer forms to a GHL Inbound Webhook

Some designers refuse to let a third-party form break their layout. Fair enough. Framer's native forms can send submissions to a webhook, and GHL can catch that webhook with its Inbound Webhook workflow trigger.

Per Framer's help article on connecting Framer forms to a webhook (2026), you select the form, click Add next to Send To, choose Webhook and paste an https URL. Framer then posts the form data as JSON, using your input names as the keys.

Building the GHL side

  • Create a new Workflow and add the Inbound Webhook trigger. Copy the URL it generates.
  • Paste that URL into Framer's Send To → Webhook field and publish.
  • Submit a test entry on the live site, then click Fetch Sample Request in the trigger so GHL learns the payload.
  • Add a Create/Update Contact action and map email, phone, name and any custom fields from the sample.
  • Follow with your usual actions: add tags, create an opportunity in the right pipeline, notify the team and start the nurture sequence.

Name your Framer inputs cleanly — first_name, email, phone, utm_source — because those names become the JSON keys you'll map. Renaming an input later breaks the mapping silently.

For the full picture of how GHL handles inbound payloads, see our guide to GoHighLevel inbound and outbound webhooks.

Pick one source of truth for your forms. Half the broken Framer builds I audit have the same lead captured three ways — and nobody knows which one triggers the follow-up.

A note on cost and reliability

The Inbound Webhook is a premium trigger. HighLevel's help documentation on the Inbound Webhook premium trigger lists US$0.01 per execution after the free allowance (2026). For a typical small-business site, that's cents a month — but agencies should switch on rebilling.

Framer retries failed deliveries if your endpoint doesn't return a 2xx response, per the same Framer article. Even so, add an internal notification step so you notice quickly if a Workflow is ever paused or edited.

Using Zapier or Make instead

If you already run Zapier or Make, you can point the Framer webhook at a catch-hook there and use the LeadConnector app to create the contact. It's useful when the same submission also needs to go to Slack, Google Sheets or an accounting tool.

For a single destination, though, it's an extra subscription and an extra point of failure. Our GoHighLevel Zapier integration breakdown explains when the middleware genuinely earns its keep.

Method 3: Chat widget, tracking script and UTM attribution in Framer

Forms aren't the only touchpoint. You'll usually want the GHL chat widget (and Conversation AI behind it) plus the external tracking script on every Framer page.

Where custom code goes in Framer

Open the project's Site Settings and scroll to Custom Code. Framer lets you insert code at the start or end of the head and body tags, and it applies site-wide. Page-level settings override the site-level ones.

  • Chat widget: paste the LeadConnector chat widget snippet from Sites → Chat Widget into the end of the body tag.
  • GHL tracking code: paste the external tracking script (from your sub-account's Settings) into the head so page views are recorded against contacts.
  • Ad pixels and tags: Google tag and Meta pixel also go in the head.

As with embeds, custom code doesn't show in Framer's preview — only on the published site. Framer also doesn't validate your snippet, so check for missing closing tags before you publish.

Keeping UTMs and attribution intact

With embedded GHL forms, add hidden fields for UTM parameters and GHL will populate them from the page URL. With native Framer forms, you need hidden inputs filled by a small script, otherwise the source data never reaches the webhook.

Once attribution is flowing, you can push offline conversions back to your ad platforms. Our GoHighLevel Google Ads conversion tracking guide shows how to close that loop.

Method 4: When to move landing pages into GHL funnels instead

Framer is brilliant for brand sites. It's less brilliant when a paid campaign needs ten landing page variants, order forms and split tests wired straight into your pipeline.

Move a page into GHL Funnels when:

  • It's a paid-traffic landing page you'll A/B test frequently.
  • It takes payments, order bumps or upsells.
  • It needs a members area, webinar registration or multi-step survey flow.
  • The client's team will edit it, and they already live in GHL.

The hybrid we build most often: Framer for the homepage, service pages and blog; GHL funnels on a subdomain such as go.yourbrand.com.au for campaigns. Both share the same tracking script, so the contact journey stays continuous.

GoHighLevel Framer integration cost in 2026

Here's what the stack realistically costs. Framer figures are per site, per Framer's pricing page and its June 2026 plans update; GHL figures are from HighLevel's pricing page, October 2026. All prices are in US dollars.

ComponentOptionMonthly costNotes
Framer site planBasicUS$10Custom domain, suits small brochure sites

Framer editor seatExtra editorUS$20Only if more people edit the site
GoHighLevelStarterUS$97Up to 3 sub-accounts

GoHighLevelAgency ProUS$497Adds SaaS mode
Inbound Webhook triggerPremium triggerUS$0.01 per executionOnly for Method 2
Zapier or MakeOptionalVaries by plan and task volumeSkip unless you need multiple destinations

A single business running Method 1 typically needs just a Framer Basic or Pro plan plus GHL Starter. Agencies managing several Framer client sites will want Unlimited for the sub-account headroom.

Check Framer's pricing page before you commit, because the company restructured its plans and retired the Scale tier in 2026, and existing customers may still be on legacy plans.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Testing embeds on the Framer canvas instead of the published site, then assuming they're broken.
  • Leaving the Embed component at a short fixed height so the bottom of the form (and the submit button) is hidden on mobile.
  • Renaming Framer form inputs after mapping the Inbound Webhook, which quietly breaks contact field mapping.
  • Capturing the same lead through a GHL embed, a Framer webhook and a Zap at once, causing duplicate Workflows to fire.
  • Forgetting hidden UTM fields, so every Framer lead shows up in GHL as "direct" traffic.
  • Pasting the chat widget into a single page's code instead of Site Settings, so it disappears on every other page.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a native GoHighLevel Framer integration?

No, there's no official one-click connector between Framer and GoHighLevel. You connect them by embedding GHL forms and calendars, sending Framer form submissions to a GHL Inbound Webhook, or adding GHL scripts through Framer's custom code settings. All three work reliably once tested on the published site.

What's the easiest way to connect Framer to HighLevel?

Embedding a GHL form or calendar with Framer's Embed component is the easiest route. Paste the GHL embed code into the component's HTML tab, set a sensible height and publish. Submissions go straight into GHL and trigger your Workflows without any middleware.

Can Framer forms send leads directly into GoHighLevel?

Yes. Framer forms can send submissions as JSON to any https webhook URL, and GHL's Inbound Webhook workflow trigger can receive them. You then map the payload to contact fields with a Create/Update Contact action.

Do I need Zapier or Make for a Framer and GHL setup?

Usually not. The direct webhook to GHL or an embedded GHL form covers most needs. Zapier or Make only makes sense when one submission must also go to several other tools.

Where do I add the GHL chat widget in Framer?

Add it in Site Settings under Custom Code, at the end of the body tag, so it loads on every page. It won't appear in Framer's preview, so check the published site to confirm it's working.

Why isn't my GHL form showing in Framer?

Framer doesn't run some embed scripts inside the editor, so the form may only appear on the published site. If it's still missing after publishing, check you pasted the full embed code including the script tag, and increase the Embed component's height.

Should I build landing pages in Framer or GHL funnels?

Use Framer for your brand site and content pages, and GHL funnels for paid-traffic landing pages, checkouts and pages you'll split test often. Many businesses run both, with funnels on a subdomain sharing the same tracking script.
