A GoHighLevel Wix integration is one of the most common requests we get from Australian service businesses: the website lives on Wix, the CRM, calendars and follow-up live in HighLevel, and nobody wants to rebuild a site that already ranks. There is no single "connect" button, so the real question is which bridge suits your leads, your budget and your team.
This guide covers the four practical ways to connect Wix to HighLevel, what each syncs, what it costs, and where tracking quietly breaks. It is part of our Setup & Cost integrations series.
Quick Facts
| Embed element in Wix | "Embed HTML" in the Wix Editor, "Embed code" in Wix Studio (Wix Help Center, 2026) |
| Site-wide Custom Code | Site must be published with a connected domain (Wix Help Center, 2026) |
| Wix webhook action | "Send via webhook" in Wix Automations; Velo must be enabled first (Wix Help Center, 2026) |
| GHL Inbound Webhook | Premium workflow trigger; 100 free executions per sub-account once enabled (HighLevel Support Portal, 2026) |
| Zapier Free plan | 100 tasks/month, two-step Zaps only (Zapier Help Center, 2026) |
| Zapier paid plans | From US$19.99/month billed annually; Webhooks by Zapier is a premium app (Zapier, 2026) |
Four ways to connect Wix to HighLevel
Every setup we build falls into one of four patterns, and plenty of clients run two at once.
- Embed GHL assets on Wix — paste HighLevel forms, calendars or the chat widget into Wix using an embed element or site-wide custom code.
- Wix Automations webhook — keep native Wix Forms and push each submission into a GHL workflow via the Inbound Webhook trigger.
- Zapier or Make bridge — let a middleware tool watch Wix and create or update contacts in HighLevel.
- Move the site to GHL — rebuild on the HighLevel Website Builder so there is nothing to integrate.
GoHighLevel Wix integration options compared
| Method | What syncs into GHL | Extra cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Embed GHL form, calendar or chat widget | Contacts, form fields, bookings and chats land natively, triggering workflows instantly | None beyond your Wix and GHL plans; site-wide code needs a published site with a connected domain | Most lead-gen sites; fastest, most reliable |
| Wix Automations "Send via webhook" to GHL Inbound Webhook | Whatever fields you map from the Wix trigger (form submissions, CMS items and similar) | GHL premium trigger executions after the 100 free; Velo must be enabled on Wix | Sites that must keep native Wix Forms |
| Zapier or Make | Wix form submissions, contacts or paid orders into LeadConnector contacts, tasks or opportunities | Zapier Free covers 100 tasks/month; paid from US$19.99/month (annual) | Wix Stores or Bookings data, multi-app flows |
| Rebuild on GHL Website Builder | Everything, natively — no sync required | Included in your GHL plan; cost is the rebuild time | Small brochure sites or agencies consolidating tools |
Embedding a native GHL form removes the integration problem rather than solving it, because the lead never has to travel between two systems.
Method 1: Embed GHL forms, calendars and chat on Wix
HighLevel gives every form, survey and calendar an embed code. Wix accepts that code through its HTML iFrame element, which Wix calls "Embed HTML" in the classic Editor and "Embed code" in Wix Studio, found under the Embed section of the Add panel.
Setup walkthrough
- In HighLevel, open the form or calendar, use its integrate or share option and copy the embed code.
- In Wix, add the Embed HTML (or Embed code) element to the page and choose the code option rather than the website address option.
- Paste the GHL code, then resize the element on desktop and check it separately on mobile, because the Mobile Editor won't let you edit the code itself.
- Publish, submit a test entry and confirm the workflow fired in GHL.
Wix notes that embedded code must load over HTTPS and that widgets needing to read other Wix elements won't work inside the element. GHL forms are self-contained, so they behave well.
Adding the chat widget site-wide
For the chat widget on every page, use Wix's Custom Code area in site Settings, paste the widget snippet into Body - end, and apply it to all pages. Wix requires the site to be published and connected to a domain before Custom Code is available. Our GoHighLevel chat widget setup guide covers the widget configuration itself.
Method 2: Send Wix Automations webhooks into a GHL workflow
If the client insists on keeping native Wix Forms, Wix Automations includes a "Send via webhook" action. Wix says Velo must be enabled on the site first. We could not confirm from Wix's documentation which plans unlock this action, so check your dashboard before you promise it to a client.
Setup walkthrough
- In GHL, enable premium workflow features at agency level, then create a workflow with the Inbound Webhook trigger and copy its unique URL.
- In Wix, create an automation with your form submission trigger, add the "Send via webhook" action and paste the GHL URL as the target.
- Choose a customised payload so only the fields you need are sent, and use clean key names.
- Submit a test entry, return to the GHL trigger, select the received request as sample data and save.
- Add a Create/Update Contact action mapping email, phone and name, then build the follow-up.
HighLevel's Inbound Webhook trigger documentation states the payload must be a JSON object and that key names should not contain spaces, so camelCase or snake_case is safest. For a deeper look at payload mapping, read our guide to GoHighLevel inbound and outbound webhooks.
What the webhook route costs
According to HighLevel's support portal, the Inbound Webhook is a premium trigger available to agencies on any plan once switched on in agency settings, with 100 free executions per sub-account. After that it is billed per execution, and you can rebill it to clients. Check the current rate in your agency billing settings.

Method 3: Connect Wix to HighLevel with Zapier or Make
Zapier lists a Wix and LeadConnector integration, with Wix triggers such as New Form Submission, New Contact and Order Paid, and LeadConnector actions that create contacts, tasks or opportunities. Zapier describes the Wix Forms trigger as instant.
This route earns its keep for Wix Stores orders or Wix Bookings data. The trade-off is another subscription and another point of failure to monitor.
Cost reality check
- Zapier's Free plan includes 100 tasks a month but limits you to two-step Zaps (Zapier Help Center, 2026).
- Paid plans start at US$19.99 a month billed annually, and Webhooks by Zapier is a premium app only available on paid plans (Zapier, 2026).
- Make is a common alternative with its own pricing; compare both before committing.

Method 4: Move the Wix site to the GHL Website Builder
HighLevel's Website Builder hosts pages, forms, calendars, chat and blog under one login, so every lead, page view and booking is native.
It suits small brochure sites with a handful of pages. It suits large Wix sites with years of SEO history, a Wix Store or heavy Velo code far less well. If you go this way, plan your redirects and DNS cutover carefully, and read our Website Builder vs Funnels comparison to choose the right structure first.
Tracking and attribution caveats on a Wix + GHL setup
This is where most Wix integrations quietly lose value: leads arrive, but the source shows as "direct" instead of the campaign that paid for them.
- Embedded iframes: a GHL form inside a Wix embed element runs in its own frame, so UTM parameters on the parent Wix URL are not automatically visible to the form. Test whether your source and UTM fields populate, and if not, capture them another way.
- Webhook and Zapier routes: only fields you explicitly send arrive. If Wix isn't capturing UTMs in hidden fields, GHL will never see them.
- Pixels and tags: Wix says Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Facebook or TikTok pixels don't work through Custom Code and should be connected through its marketing integrations instead.
Run one tagged test click per channel before launch; our guide to GoHighLevel attribution reporting and lead sources shows how to read the results.
Australian privacy and spam consent on Wix forms
Whichever method you pick, the consent wording sits on the form, and the follow-up runs from GHL. Under the Spam Act 2003, the ACMA says businesses must generally have consent before sending commercial emails or SMS, must identify the sender, and must honour unsubscribes within five working days.
In practice, add a clear, unticked marketing consent checkbox to every form and pass its value into a GHL custom field or tag. If consent doesn't travel with the contact, your workflows can't respect it. The ACMA's guidance on avoiding spam is the reference point.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Running a Zap just to copy form fields when an embedded GHL form would do it natively and for free.
- Switching on premium workflow features without setting up rebilling, then absorbing every client's execution costs.
- Sending webhook payloads with spaced or inconsistent key names that break field mapping.
- Skipping the mobile check on Wix embed elements, leaving forms cut off on phones.
- Launching without testing UTM capture, so every lead reports as direct traffic.
- Collecting leads with no consent checkbox, or not passing consent into GHL.

Frequently asked questions
Does GoHighLevel have a native Wix integration?
There is no one-click native connector between Wix and HighLevel. Instead, you embed GHL forms, calendars and chat on Wix, send Wix Automations webhooks to a GHL Inbound Webhook trigger, use Zapier or Make, or move the site onto the GHL Website Builder.
What is the easiest way to connect Wix to HighLevel?
Embedding a GHL form or calendar in a Wix Embed HTML or Embed code element is the simplest and most reliable option. Leads are created directly in HighLevel and workflows fire instantly, with no middleware to maintain.
Can I add the GHL chat widget to every page of my Wix site?
Yes. Paste the widget snippet into Wix's Custom Code area in site Settings and apply it to all pages. Wix requires the site to be published and connected to a domain before Custom Code can be used.
Does the Wix webhook method cost extra in GoHighLevel?
The Inbound Webhook is a premium workflow trigger. HighLevel's support portal says each sub-account gets 100 free executions once premium features are enabled, after which executions are billed per use and can be rebilled to clients.
Do I need Zapier to connect Wix to GoHighLevel?
No. Zapier is useful for Wix Stores orders, Wix Bookings data or multi-app flows, but simple lead capture works better with an embedded GHL form. Zapier's Free plan covers 100 tasks a month with two-step Zaps only.
Why are my Wix leads showing as direct traffic in GHL?
UTM parameters on the Wix page aren't automatically passed into an embedded form or a webhook payload. Test each channel with a tagged link and make sure source data is captured and sent explicitly.
Should I move my Wix site to the GHL Website Builder?
It makes sense for small brochure sites where consolidating tools saves money and effort. Large Wix sites with strong SEO history, a Wix Store or custom Velo code are usually better left on Wix and integrated instead.
What consent do I need on Wix forms for Australian leads?
The ACMA says you generally need consent before sending commercial emails or SMS under the Spam Act 2003. Use a clear marketing consent checkbox and pass its value into a GHL field or tag so your workflows respect it.
