A GoHighLevel Unbounce integration lets you keep the landing pages your ads team already trusts while every lead lands in a HighLevel pipeline, tagged, attributed and ready for follow-up. Done properly, nobody has to export a CSV from the Unbounce Leads table ever again.
This guide walks through the four realistic ways to connect Unbounce to HighLevel, the exact field mapping I use for client builds (UTMs, hidden fields and the consent checkbox included), what each option actually costs in 2026, and when it makes more sense to rebuild the page inside HighLevel instead.

Why agencies keep Unbounce and still want leads in HighLevel
Most agencies I work with did not choose Unbounce by accident. They have years of winning variants, Smart Traffic data and dynamic text replacement tuned for Google Ads, and nobody wants to throw that away mid-campaign.
The gap is after the form. Unbounce stores the lead but does not run SMS follow-up, book appointments or move opportunities. Unbounce captures, HighLevel nurtures, and the integration decides whether speed-to-lead is 30 seconds or "whenever someone checks the inbox".
Four ways to connect Unbounce to HighLevel
Unbounce's own documentation lists native integrations with tools such as Mailchimp, Salesforce, HubSpot Marketing Hub and Marketo, plus a Zapier-powered option and webhooks. HighLevel (LeadConnector) is not one of the native options, so you pick one of these routes.
| Option | How it works | Best for | Extra cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unbounce webhook → HighLevel Inbound Webhook trigger | Unbounce POSTs each submission to a workflow URL | Most agency builds; fastest, no middleware | $0.01 per execution after 100 free |
| Zapier | Unbounce trigger → LeadConnector action | Teams already living in Zapier | Zapier plan (task-based) |
| Make | Webhook module → HighLevel module | Complex routing, many clients | Make plan (operation-based) |
| Embedded HighLevel form | HighLevel form placed in an Unbounce custom HTML block | Simple pages where native form tracking matters less | None beyond plans |
Option 1: Unbounce webhook into a HighLevel Inbound Webhook trigger
This is my default. Unbounce's Form Submit Webhook sends a push to a URL every time someone submits a form, and HighLevel's Inbound Webhook trigger gives you exactly that URL inside a Workflow.
According to HighLevel's help centre, Inbound Webhook is a premium trigger billed at $0.01 USD per execution, with 100 free lifetime executions per sub-account. Agencies can rebill it with a markup. If you want the deeper mechanics, our guide to inbound and outbound webhooks in GoHighLevel covers payload testing and troubleshooting.
Option 2: Zapier
Zapier has both an Unbounce app and a LeadConnector app, so you can build "New Form Submission → Create/Update Contact" without touching a workflow URL. It is friendly for non-technical staff but adds a subscription and some delay.
We compare plans and task counting in our GoHighLevel Zapier integration guide.
Option 3: Make
Make suits agencies with many client pages, because one scenario can route leads to different sub-accounts by page ID. Our Make.com and HighLevel setup guide shows the scenario pattern.
Option 4: Embed a HighLevel form in Unbounce
You can paste HighLevel's form embed code into an Unbounce custom HTML element. Leads go straight into HighLevel and fire the native Form Submitted trigger, with no premium cost.
The trade-off: Unbounce no longer "sees" the conversion, so its conversion rate reporting, A/B test winners and Smart Traffic optimisation lose their signal. For pages where testing is the whole point, that is usually a deal-breaker.
Step-by-step: set up the GoHighLevel Unbounce integration with a webhook
Here is the sequence I use on client sub-accounts.
- Create the workflow. In the sub-account, go to Automation → Workflows → Create Workflow → Start from scratch. Add the Inbound Webhook trigger and copy the generated URL.
- Add the webhook in Unbounce. Open the landing page, go to the Integrations tab → Webhooks → Add Webhook, and paste the HighLevel URL into the field for posting form data.
- Send a test submission. Publish the page (or use the preview), submit a test lead, then return to the trigger and fetch the sample request so HighLevel can read the incoming fields.
- Add a Create/Update Contact action. Map the incoming values to standard fields (first name, email, phone) and to custom fields for everything else.
- Tag and route. Add a tag such as src-unbounce plus a page-specific tag, then create or update an opportunity in the right pipeline stage.
- Repeat per page. Unbounce webhooks are scoped to one landing page, so add the URL to each page and popup.
Unbounce sends the form values inside a structured payload alongside page details such as the page ID and variant. That is useful: map the variant to a custom field and you can see which A/B variant produced every closed deal.
Unbounce's official webhook documentation explains the payload format; their support team does not configure webhooks for you.
Field mapping that keeps attribution intact
Names and emails rarely break. Attribution and consent are what get dropped.
UTM and hidden fields
Unbounce's documentation confirms hidden fields can capture UTM and GCLID values from the URL. The hidden field ID must match the parameter name exactly, and it is case-sensitive.
| Unbounce field ID | Type | HighLevel destination |
|---|---|---|
| first_name / email / phone_number | Visible | Standard contact fields |
| utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign | Hidden | Custom fields (Single Line) |
| utm_term, utm_content | Hidden | Custom fields (Single Line) |
| gclid | Hidden | Custom field for offline conversion uploads |
| Page variant | Sent in payload | Custom field "Landing page variant" |
| marketing_consent | Checkbox | Custom field (Checkbox or Single Line) |
Create the custom fields in HighLevel first. Once populated, HighLevel attribution reporting by lead source becomes genuinely useful instead of showing everything as "direct".
The consent checkbox
Add an unticked checkbox to the Unbounce form with clear wording such as "Yes, send me offers and updates by email and SMS". Map its value to a custom field, then add an If/Else branch in the workflow.
- Consent ticked: add a marketing-opt-in tag and enter the nurture sequence.
- Consent not ticked: send only the transactional response they asked for (the quote, the booking confirmation).
- Either way: store the timestamp and page URL as evidence of how consent was collected.
What the integration costs in 2026
Costs come from three places: the Unbounce plan, the HighLevel plan, and whatever sits in the middle. Prices below are USD on monthly billing, according to Unbounce's pricing page and HighLevel's published plans as indexed in October 2026.
| Item | Plan | Price (USD) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Unbounce | Starter | $29/mo | 500 visitors, 5 pages, 1 user |
| Unbounce | Build | $99/mo | 20,000 visitors, unlimited pages |
| Unbounce | Experiment | $149/mo | 30,000 visitors, adds A/B testing |
| Unbounce | Optimize | $249/mo | 50,000 visitors, adds Smart Traffic |
| HighLevel | Starter | $97/mo | Entry agency plan |
| HighLevel | Unlimited | $297/mo | Unlimited sub-accounts, API access |
| HighLevel | Agency Pro (SaaS) | $497/mo | SaaS mode and rebilling |
| HighLevel Inbound Webhook | Premium trigger | $0.01 per execution | 100 free lifetime executions per sub-account |
| Zapier or Make | Free and paid tiers | Varies by volume | Only needed for options 2 and 3 |
Annual billing lowers these figures and visitor overages cost extra, so check the live pricing page before quoting.
The webhook route is the cheapest at scale. A client generating 1,000 Unbounce leads a month adds roughly $10 USD in premium executions, which is less than most Zapier paid tiers.

When to rebuild in HighLevel funnels instead
If you pay for Unbounce mainly to host a handful of pages, HighLevel's funnel builder may do the job inside the plan you already have.
Rebuild in HighLevel when:
- The pages get modest traffic and are not under active A/B testing.
- You want native forms, calendars and payments on the same page.
- Clients need to edit pages themselves inside their sub-account.
- You are rolling the same page out to many clients via snapshots.
Keep Unbounce when Smart Traffic or a long testing history is driving results, or when a paid media team owns the pages. Our HighLevel lead capture funnel guide shows what a rebuild looks like in practice.
Testing before you send paid traffic
Run a full test lead before any ad spend:
- Submit with a URL carrying test UTMs (for example ?utm_source=test&utm_campaign=unbounce-qa).
- Check the contact in HighLevel: every custom field populated, tags applied, opportunity created.
- Confirm the workflow execution log shows the Inbound Webhook trigger fired once, not twice.
- Test with consent ticked and unticked to check both branches.
- Test each Unbounce variant and any popups separately, since each needs its own webhook.
HighLevel's Inbound Webhook trigger article is the reference for fetching sample requests if the mapping screen comes up empty.
An Australian Spam Act note on consent
If you or your clients market to Australians, the Spam Act 2003 applies to commercial emails and SMS. In short, you need consent, you must identify the sender, and every message needs a working unsubscribe.
Filling in a form for a quote is not blanket permission for a promotional sequence. Collect express consent with an unticked checkbox, keep the record in HighLevel, and honour opt-outs promptly. ACMA enforces the Act and has issued significant penalties to businesses that got this wrong.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Adding the webhook to one page and assuming it covers the whole Unbounce account or its popups.
- Naming hidden fields UTM_Source when the URL uses utm_source; the match is case-sensitive.
- Mapping before sending a test submission, so HighLevel has no sample fields to choose from.
- Running both a webhook and a Zap on the same page, which creates duplicate contacts and double follow-ups.
- Pre-ticking the consent checkbox, or ignoring it in the workflow.
- Forgetting that premium executions are billable and not rebilling them to the client.

Frequently asked questions
Does Unbounce have a native HighLevel integration?
No. Unbounce's native integrations cover tools such as Mailchimp, Salesforce and HubSpot Marketing Hub, but not HighLevel. You connect the two with a webhook, Zapier, Make or an embedded HighLevel form.
Is the HighLevel Inbound Webhook trigger free?
It is a premium workflow trigger. HighLevel charges $0.01 USD per execution after 100 free lifetime executions per sub-account, and agencies can rebill that cost to clients with a markup.
What is the best way to connect Unbounce to HighLevel?
For most agencies, the Unbounce webhook into a HighLevel Inbound Webhook trigger is best. It is fast, needs no middleware subscription and keeps Unbounce's conversion tracking intact. Use Zapier or Make if you need multi-step routing across many clients.
Can I pass UTM parameters from Unbounce into HighLevel?
Yes. Add hidden fields in the Unbounce form whose IDs exactly match the UTM parameter names, then map each one to a HighLevel custom field in the Create/Update Contact action. The match is case-sensitive.
Do I need a webhook on every Unbounce page?
Yes. Unbounce webhooks are set per landing page, so each page and popup that collects leads needs the HighLevel webhook URL added. You can point them all at the same workflow and use page tags to tell them apart.
Should I embed a HighLevel form in Unbounce instead?
Only if Unbounce's conversion reporting does not matter to you. An embedded HighLevel form avoids premium trigger costs, but Unbounce can no longer track the conversion, which weakens A/B testing and Smart Traffic.
How do I stay compliant with the Spam Act when using Unbounce leads?
Collect express consent with an unticked checkbox, map it to a HighLevel custom field, and only send promotional messages to contacts who opted in. Every email and SMS must identify the sender and include a working unsubscribe.
