Key takeaway

HighLevel Local Chapters are in-person meetups led by Certified Admins, open to anyone using or exploring HighLevel. As of 27 October 2026 there are 14 chapters across the USA, Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines, and you must be a Certified Admin to apply to lead one.

Late one afternoon at LevelUp 2026 in Dallas, I joined a room that felt very different from the main stage. It was full of HighLevel chapter leaders, people hoping to become chapter leaders, and the volunteers who help run local meetups, all there to hear from the HighLevel team behind the Chapters program.

I came to Dallas for LevelUp (and to accept HighLevel's Gold SaaSPRENEUR award at the gala). But this chapters session is the one I keep thinking about. So here's what was said in the room, in the order it happened, what I took from it, and then the practical details: every chapter currently listed, how to join one, and how to lead one.

Inside the HighLevel Chapters session at LevelUp 2026

LevelUp 2026 runs from 26 to 29 October 2026 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, Texas, with an optional Encore Day on 30 October. The public agenda covers keynotes, LevelUp Day with the roadmap reveal, a co-founder Q&A, breakouts, a Certified Admin Happy Hour and the Awards Gala, plus a Community Hall for "meetups, mastermind tables and the unplanned conversations that end up mattering most." The chapters gathering wasn't on the public agenda. It was a mixer for the people who make the program work. Everything below comes from my own notes and recording, paraphrased unless it's in quote marks.

  1. A rundown of HighLevel's community programs

The session opened with someone from HighLevel's team running through everything HighLevel does on the community side:

    • the events HighLevel hosts
    • the events HighLevel sponsors
    • the chapters program, which they pointed out was "everybody in here"
    • the internship program that ran over the summer
    • a new program being set up for people leaving the military, to help them build new skills

The military program got a cheer from the room.

  2. A thank-you to leaders, aspiring leaders and volunteers

The same speaker then thanked everyone for being part of the chapters program, whether they already lead a thriving chapter or are hoping to start one. They called it "a really, really important program" for HighLevel.

  3. "Learning from each other is the best way to learn"

They also shared that they had run a very similar chapter program for about 10 or 11 years before HighLevel, and that they love getting out into the community. Their point was simple: chapters are a chance to get together, and learning from each other is the best way to learn. Then they headed off to meet as many people as they could before dashing to another mixer with HighLevel's interns.

  4. April: people come for the in-person answers

April from the chapters team spoke next. She said the users who come to chapters really appreciate being able to go in person, get their questions answered and learn, and that they look to chapter leaders as their "teacher and facilitator." She thanked the leaders for everything they do.

  5. The team behind the program

We then heard from two newer faces on the chapters team. The first joined HighLevel in July as community programs coordinator, to help spearhead the chapters program with April and Gail. They said the feedback from members about what they're learning, and about the chapter leaders, has been great.

The second started through HighLevel's internship program and now works alongside the team on chapters. They said they're excited to see the program grow.

  6. Volunteers matter just as much

One line stood out for me: volunteers are "equally as important" as chapter leaders. Said to a room full of leaders, that tells you how HighLevel thinks about running a chapter. It's a team effort, not a solo gig.

  7. "Grab a chapter leader"

The advice for anyone thinking about starting a chapter was refreshingly practical. Network. Grab a chapter leader and ask them how they like it, what they need to know and what they should learn before they get started.

  8. A toast and a group photo

To finish, April led a toast to the chapters, and everyone gathered on the stage for a group photo.

What this means for you: key takeaways from the session

I run a white-label fulfilment business, so you'd think I'd say "just outsource it". Honestly, the agencies that do best with us are the ones that also stay close to the community. Here's what I'd take from that room:

  • Community is a real priority at HighLevel. Hosted events, sponsored events, chapters, internships and now a program for people leaving the military. If you want support beyond the help docs, there are more ways in than ever.
  • Going in person gets your questions answered faster. That was April's point, and it matches my experience. A ten-minute chat with someone who has already fixed your A2P registration or your pipeline logic can save you a week.
  • You don't have to lead to contribute. Volunteers were called "equally as important" as leaders. If running a chapter feels like too much, helping one is a great start.
  • Thinking about leading? Talk to a leader first. That was the team's own advice. Ask what the role actually takes before you apply.
  • You'll see what's shipping. Chapter events include a "Release Radar" slot with HighLevel's latest updates straight from the team, so you're not finding out from a client.
  • Leading builds local authority. HighLevel lists "authority and a personal brand in your market" as a benefit for chapter leaders. Your local agency peers can also become your best referral partners.

Now for the details.

What is the HighLevel Chapters program?

What is the HighLevel Chapters program?

HighLevel Local Chapters are in-person community groups where agency owners, marketers and business operators meet in their own city to learn HighLevel, see the latest feature updates, share real use cases and network. Chapters are led by HighLevel Certified Admins, supported by HighLevel's chapters team, and are open to current and future users.

In HighLevel's own words, Local Chapters are "in-person communities where entrepreneurs, agencies and operators come together to learn faster, share what's working and grow alongside people building in the same ecosystem" (chapters.gohighlevel.com).

According to the official page, a typical chapter gives you:

  • Hands-on workshops and live walkthroughs
  • Real use cases from local businesses and agencies
  • Panel discussions and open Q&A
  • Networking with people who are actively building and growing

Who can join a chapter?

The Chapters site says chapters are open to:

  • Current HighLevel users who want to sharpen their skills
  • Agency owners and operators looking to scale smarter
  • Entrepreneurs exploring HighLevel for their business
  • Anyone who values community, collaboration and practical learning

City pages also list HighLevel agency owners, marketers and consultants, small business owners, SaaSpreneurs, operations teams and power users as the people who should come along (for example, the Brisbane chapter page).

You don't need to be an expert. You don't even need to be a paying user yet.

What happens at a chapter meetup?

The city pages share a similar running order. The Dallas chapter page, for example, lists networking, a "Release Radar" (a look at the latest HighLevel feature updates straight from the team), peer group breakout discussions, Q&A and more networking.

Some chapters go deeper. The Philadelphia event includes a live build of a lead capture and follow-up process, plus a "hot seat" where attendees bring a broken process and the group works through it. Austin has a one-hour pipelines deep dive, and Treasure Coast has a session on Conversation AI.

So expect a mix of product updates, practical training and plenty of time to talk to people who run the same software you do.

Every HighLevel chapter listed (October 2026)

This table lists every chapter on the "Upcoming chapter events" section of chapters.gohighlevel.com as of 27 October 2026, with times taken from each city's own event page. The list is dynamic. New cities get added as the program grows, so always check the official site for the latest.

That's 14 chapter locations across four countries: the USA (7), Australia (4), New Zealand (2) and the Philippines (1).

A few honest notes from checking each page:

  • Chicago: the main Chapters page lists Tuesday 24 November 2026, while the Chicago event page says Thursday 19 November 2026. Confirm on the registration page before you book travel. Chicago isn't brand new either: HighLevel's team promoted a Chicago Local Chapter launch event on LinkedIn in June 2026.
  • Tampa: the Tampa page shows an earlier event on 17 September 2026, and the main site lists the next one as "Coming Soon".
  • Houston: there's a Houston page for a "Help Launch the HighLevel Local Chapter in Houston" event held on 30 June 2026. Houston isn't on the current upcoming events list, so I've left it out of the count.
  • Time zones: I've used the time zones shown on each city page. *A couple of US pages show daylight time (EDT/CDT) for late-November dates, so treat the clock time as local time.
  • Fees and venues: the pages I checked don't publish venues or ticket prices up front. Register through the city page to get the details.

Don't see your city?

You have two options: go to the nearest listed chapter, or start one yourself (more on that below). There's also a contact form at the bottom of chapters.gohighlevel.com for questions about chapters, events or leadership.

For my fellow Aussies and Kiwis: it's great to see Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne, Auckland and Christchurch all on the list. If you're in Perth, Adelaide, Canberra or Hobart, there's room for a leader to put their hand up.

How to join a HighLevel chapter (step by step)

  1. Go to chapters.gohighlevel.com and scroll to "Upcoming chapter events".
  2. Find your city (or the closest one) and click "Register Now". Cities marked "Coming Soon" don't have a date yet.
  3. Fill in the registration form on the city page. Some pages ask a few qualifying questions, such as whether you're a current HighLevel user or a Certified Admin.
  4. Read the consent notes. By registering, you agree to event emails and texts from HighLevel Chapters (you can opt out), and HighLevel may photograph or film parts of the event.
  5. Turn up with a real problem. The Q&A, peer groups and hot seat sessions are where the value is. Bring the automation that keeps breaking or the onboarding step clients always get stuck on.

Space is limited, according to every city page I checked, so register early.

How to become a HighLevel chapter leader

This is the part I get asked about most. Here's what the official site says.

Requirements

The chapter leader application page is clear: "It is required to be a HighLevel Certified Admin to be considered." The main Chapters page says HighLevel is looking for "certified HighLevel administrators and experienced users to help lead and grow local communities."

The application asks for:

  • Whether you're a Certified Admin, and the date you certified
  • Which Certified Admin badges you've earned (the form lists HIPAA Compliance, Paid Ads, A2P 10DLC Compliance, Course Creator, SaaSPRENEUR, Automated Swag Store, Social Media Manager, Lead Capture Systems, Funnel Builder, WhatsApp Integration, AI Tech Stack and AI Voice)
  • How you promote HighLevel today: as an affiliate, a white-label reseller, a Technical Service Provider (Certified Admin) or other
  • Which LevelUp conferences you've attended (2022–2025)
  • Whether you've been to a recent Kickoff event where you learned about becoming a chapter leader
  • Your type of business and social media profiles

What chapter leaders do

From chapters.gohighlevel.com:

  • Lead and host local HighLevel chapter events
  • Facilitate conversations using HighLevel's content and frameworks
  • Build and grow a strong, engaged local community
  • Create meaningful connections within the HighLevel ecosystem
  • Partner with the HighLevel Chapter team to run the program

What chapter leaders get

  • Direct connection to the HighLevel team
  • Proven content, playbooks and event frameworks
  • Visibility and credibility within the ecosystem
  • The chance to build authority and a personal brand in your market
  • Ongoing support to help you grow your chapter

The application process, step by step

  1. Get certified. If you're not a HighLevel Certified Admin yet, start there. It's the stated entry requirement.
  2. Go to a chapter event or Kickoff if you can. The form asks about it, and it's the best way to see what leading involves.
  3. Apply at chapters.gohighlevel.com/chapters/lead.
  4. Wait for the review. HighLevel's confirmation page says the team will review your submission and, if you meet the requirements (including Certified Admin status), get in touch with next steps (source).
  5. Be patient with timing. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with "onboarding and chapter activation happening in phases as the program expands."

Not ready to lead? Volunteer or sponsor

As the team said in Dallas, volunteers are "equally as important" as chapter leaders. The website doesn't list a separate volunteer application, so ask your local chapter leader at an event or use the contact form on the Chapters site.

If you run a business that serves HighLevel users, there's also a sponsor program. Sponsors get a two-minute lightning pitch to the room, in-person networking, a marketing table, follow-up email promotion to attendees, and (for sponsors at five or more events) a featured 10-minute demo slot. One rule worth knowing: chapter leaders can't sponsor in their own city.
