HighLevel Founder Plan 2026: $497 Price, Features, Worth It?
The HighLevel Founder Plan is the renamed $497 Agency Pro plan. Every feature, status, the $20 AI plan, ROI maths and how to upgrade, from LevelUp Dallas.

The HighLevel Founder Plan is HighLevel's top self-serve plan at US$497 a month (US$4,970 a year), formerly called Agency Pro. It keeps SaaS Mode, rebilling with markup and advanced API access, and adds Founder-only tools such as Industries and Workflow Maps, plus the Founders Club. It's built for agencies, consultants and SaaS founders who serve clients.
The short answer: the Founder Plan isn't a new product or a price rise. It's the $497 plan you may know as Agency Pro (and, before that, SaaS Pro), renamed and expanded on 27 October 2026 at LevelUp in Dallas. If you're already paying $497, you move across automatically. If you're on Starter ($97) or Unlimited ($297), the real question is whether the Founder-only features will earn you more than the extra $200 to $400 a month. This guide answers that with real numbers.
I was in the room at the Hilton Anatole when HighLevel's founders announced it. I run HighLevel's top plan for my own business, and I'm being recognised at this LevelUp for passing 100 SaaS sub-accounts. So this guide covers what the sales page doesn't: which features are live today, which are still in beta, what the $497 doesn't cover, and who should stay on a cheaper plan.
All prices are in US dollars, as HighLevel lists them, and were checked on 28 October 2026.

What is the HighLevel Founder Plan?
The Founder Plan is HighLevel's $497/month plan, formerly Agency Pro. It includes everything in the $297 Unlimited plan, plus SaaS Mode, rebilling with markup, advanced API access, an exclusive Founder feature set (Industries, Workflow Maps, Custom Navs, Events and more), the Founders Club, eligibility for the HighLevel Partner Network and the most included AI of any plan.
HighLevel calls it "Formerly the Agency Pro Plan - Now Supercharged", pitched at "founders, agencies, consultants, and service providers looking to scale". Three things to understand:
- It's the same $497 tier. The three plans are now Starter, Unlimited and Founder Plan. The price hasn't changed.
- "Founder" is HighLevel's new word for its customers. At LevelUp, co-founder Robin Alex said "agency" no longer describes everyone building on HighLevel. Consultants, SaaS operators and service providers use it too.
- HighLevel is putting its newest features at the top tier. Many of this year's launches are Founder-only. That's why the upgrade question is worth re-asking even if you said no to Agency Pro last year.
Which plan should you choose? A 30-second decision tree
Choose Starter if you're one business or testing with up to three accounts. Choose Unlimited if you need more than three client accounts but won't resell software or mark up usage. Choose the Founder Plan if you'll resell HighLevel, mark up usage, want Industries or the $20 AI plan, or want to join the Partner Network.
- Are you using HighLevel only for your own business (three accounts or fewer)? → Yes: Starter ($97). → No: go to 2.
- Will you sell HighLevel to clients as your own branded software (SaaS Mode)? → Yes: Founder Plan ($497). → No: go to 3.
- Do your clients use phone, SMS, email or AI that you want to mark up, or do you want to rebill AI usage? → Yes: Founder Plan. → No: go to 4.
- Do you serve restaurants, home services or coaches and want HighLevel Industries, or want the $20 AI plan for clients? → Yes: Founder Plan. → No: go to 5.
- Do you want to be matched with businesses through the HighLevel Partner Network? → Yes: Founder Plan (and pass the exams). → No: Unlimited ($297) is probably enough for now.
Not sure? Start the 14-day trial on the Founder Plan, test the features you'd actually use, and drop to Unlimited before day 14 if they don't earn their keep.
What changed at LevelUp 2026: a recap from the room
On LevelUp Day, 27 October 2026, HighLevel renamed its customers "founders", renamed the $497 plan the Founder Plan, and announced Founder-only perks: the Founders Club, payment commissions, AdFuel ads, HighLevel Partner introductions and the $20 AI Employee Starter plan for client accounts.
LevelUp 2026 ran from 26 to 29 October at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. The product launches came at the LevelUp Day keynote on Tuesday 27 October, delivered by HighLevel's three co-founders: Shaun Clark, Varun Vairavan and Robin Alex. Here's what they said about the Founder Plan, in the order it came up.
"This is the year about you." The keynote opened with the platform's scale: 12 million+ leads, $200 million in commissions and $10 billion+ generated by HighLevel users. Then Robin explained the rename: "What we've come up with is... the founder. That is what each and every one of you are."
The $497 plan became the Founder Plan. Same price, and existing $497 customers move across. The founders grouped every launch under Build, Run and Grow, and the Founder Plan sat at the centre of Grow.
Founder-only perks were announced on stage. The ones that matter most:
- Founders Club: "a new online community" with "special access for you guys", with weekly live streams, masterminds, challenges and contests.
- Payment commissions: Varun set a goal of sharing about 40% of the profit HighLevel makes on payments with founders, every month. "When we get paid, you get paid," he said. Treat the percentage as a stated goal until written terms are out.
- AdFuel: "We're actually gonna pay to drive traffic to your business, to you as a founder." Eligible founders get free ads promoting their business in their local market.
- HighLevel Partner: businesses that sign up to HighLevel directly get matched with founders who can support them. More on how that works below.
- The $20 AI Employee Starter plan: an AI plan for client accounts that only Founder Plan agencies can use. Explained below.
- More events: discounted event tickets and meetups at HighLevel's Dallas and Dubai headquarters.
What I took from it. The message in the room was clear: HighLevel wants its best tools, its leads and its marketing support to flow through founders on the top plan. Small businesses that sign up directly get pointed back to founders. That's a big shift if you run an agency. It also means some of the most exciting perks were announced, not shipped, so everything below has a status label.

What's included, and what you can do with it
Everything in Unlimited, plus SaaS Mode, rebilling with markup, advanced API access, user reports and 15 Founder features: Industries, Custom Navs, Events, Workflow Maps, Project Management, Ticketing, Meeting Rooms, Loyalty & Rewards, the A2P Console and more. Custom Onboarding and the Email Health Console are marked "Coming Soon".
Status labels: Live means generally available. Labs means opt-in early access inside HighLevel. Beta or Private beta means limited access. Coming Soon is HighLevel's own label. Announced means said on stage, with details still to come. Status is as of 28 October 2026, and Labs and beta access can vary by account, so check yours before you promise a feature to a client.
The Founder feature set
| Feature | What you can do with it (examples) | Status |
|---|---|---|
| SaaS Mode | Sell your own branded software plans. A client pays on your website, and HighLevel creates their account, maps permissions, sends logins and monitors billing automatically | Live |
| Rebilling with markup | Charge clients more than cost for email, email validation, calls, SMS, AI and more. Illustrative: LC Email costs you $0.675 per 1,000 emails. Rebill it at 2x and you charge $1.35, keeping $0.675 per 1,000 | Live |
| AI Employee rebilling | Pass AI usage on to clients with your margin instead of absorbing it ($497 plan only) | Live |
| Advanced API access | Connect HighLevel to your client's other systems, or build custom integrations and dashboards | Live |
| User Reports | See each team member's calls, messages, appointments and closed deals in one dashboard. Useful for paying commission or coaching VAs | Live |
| HighLevel Industries | Switch on niche features per sub-account: Reservations, Menu Creator and Order Management for restaurants; Job Creation, Field Management and geo-optimised Job Routing for home services. Business coaching is named as coming next | Rolling out (Founder-only) |
| Workflow Maps | Audit an inherited account in minutes: see every workflow, trigger and tag and how they connect, in 2D or 3D | Live (agency users at launch) |
| Custom Navs | Re-order, group and set defaults in the left-hand menu. Rename "Opportunities" to "Jobs" for a tradie, and hide what a client never uses | Labs (opt-in) |
| Project Management | Run client onboarding or website builds as projects with tasks, boards, owners and due dates | Beta |
| Ticketing | Turn every support message into a ticket you can assign, prioritise and track, for your agency or your SaaS clients | Announced on stage |
| Meeting Rooms | Run discovery calls, demos and client check-ins inside the CRM, with no separate video subscription | Live |
| Events | Sell workshop tickets, take registrations and check people in by scanning QR codes in the mobile app | Labs (beta) |
| Loyalty & Rewards | Run points programs for online purchases and in-store check-ins for cafés, salons and gyms | Private beta |
| A2P Console | Track US SMS (A2P) registration for every client in one place, so no one's texts get blocked | Live |
| Custom Onboarding | Build Launchpads that walk new clients through set-up in your order | Coming Soon |
| Email Health Console | Watch deliverability, bounces, spam complaints and sender reputation across all clients | Coming Soon |
Tools it could replace
If you're paying for separate tools in any of these categories, the Founder Plan may cover them. Check your current costs and whether the HighLevel version is live for your account before you cancel anything.
| You might be paying for... | Founder Plan feature | Status |
|---|---|---|
| A project management tool | Project Management | Beta |
| A help desk or ticketing tool | Ticketing | Announced |
| Event ticketing | Events | Labs |
| Video meeting software | Meeting Rooms | Live |
| A loyalty or rewards app | Loyalty & Rewards | Private beta |
| Job management for trades, or restaurant reservations and ordering | Industries | Rolling out |

AI on the Founder Plan
HighLevel describes the Founder Plan as having "The Most Free AI" of any plan. In practice:
- Agency users on every plan get the AI assistants (Ask AI, AI Studio and Creator Studio) at no extra cost, subject to fair use. Usage resets in rolling five-hour windows.
- The $497 plan gets the biggest allowance and adds advanced Creator Studio models.
- Only the $497 plan can rebill AI Employee usage to client accounts.
- Only the $497 plan unlocks the $20 AI Employee Starter plan for clients.
- AI agents (Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI and Managed Agents) are still paid on every plan.
The HighLevel Partner Network: how it works
The HighLevel Partner Network matches businesses that sign up directly on HighLevel's $97 plan with five Partners, based on factors such as location, language, business size and industry. Only Founder Plan customers can apply, and you must pass three exams: Builder, Advisor and AI Implementation.
This is the perk most people upgrade for, so here's what HighLevel has published so far.
- Who can apply: anyone on the Founder Plan, as an Expert (an individual) or a Solutions Provider (a company). HighLevel also describes a SaaSPRENEUR partnership type for white-labellers serving a niche.
- The exams: the Builder Exam (platform mastery), the Advisor Exam (speaking with clients and architecting their success) and the AI Implementation Exam. Experts must pass all three themselves. Solutions Providers can have different team members pass different exams. HighLevel Certified Admins have been told their credential already satisfies the Builder Exam.
- The four steps: get trained, get tested, get listed, receive leads. After your exams you book a kickoff call with a Partner Growth Specialist, who reviews your profile with you.
- How matching works: a business that signs up directly on the $97 plan is matched with five Partners based on factors such as location, language, business size and industry. The business reaches out to the Partners it likes, and when it chooses one, it enters that Partner's ID, which gives the Partner access to its HighLevel account.
- How to get more matches: fill in your profile in detail (specialities and the businesses you want), then drive results for the businesses that choose you. Success in connected accounts lifts you in the matching algorithm.
- Timing: personalised customer matching is planned to begin in January 2027.
- What it isn't: a guarantee. Joining requires a separate opt-in and passing the qualification process, and buying the Founder Plan doesn't guarantee acceptance or matches.
My take: if you're a strong implementer, this is the first time HighLevel has actively sent small businesses your way. Take the exams early, before the January rush, and build a specific, niche profile rather than a generic "we do everything" one.
Founder Plan pricing compared with Starter, Unlimited and Enterprise
Starter is $97/month ($970/year) for 3 sub-accounts. Unlimited is $297/month ($2,970/year) for unlimited sub-accounts and rebilling at cost. The Founder Plan is $497/month ($4,970/year) and adds SaaS Mode, rebilling with markup, advanced API access and the Founder feature set. All three have a 14-day free trial. Enterprise is custom-priced.
| Starter | Unlimited | Founder Plan | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly price (USD) | $97 | $297 | $497 |
| Annual price (USD) | $970 | $2,970 | $4,970 |
| Free trial | 14 days | 14 days | 14 days |
| Pitched at | "Smaller businesses, solo marketers, and starter agencies" | "Growing agencies who are ready for unlimited client accounts" | "Founders, agencies, consultants, and service providers looking to scale" |
| Sub-accounts | 3 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Contacts and users | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| White-label | Not listed | Yes | Yes |
| API access | Not listed | Basic | Advanced |
| Rebill phone and email | No | At cost (no markup) | With markup |
| Rebill AI Employee usage | No | No | Yes |
| SaaS Mode and automated sub-account creation | No | No | Yes |
| User/agent reporting | No | No | Yes |
| Founder feature set | No | No | Yes |
| $20 AI Employee Starter plan for clients | No | No | Yes |
| Founders Club, Partner Network eligibility | No | No | Yes |
| Included AI for agency users | "Free AI" | "More free AI" | "The most free AI" |
What annual billing saves you. Twelve months at $497 is $5,964. The annual price is $4,970, so paying yearly saves $994, roughly two months free. HighLevel's main pricing page still labelled this tier "Agency Pro" on 28 October 2026. It's the same plan.
The gap between plans. Unlimited to Founder adds $200 a month. Starter to Founder adds $400 a month.
Founder Plan vs Enterprise
Enterprise is HighLevel's custom-priced plan for high-volume businesses and agencies. You talk to HighLevel's enterprise team rather than signing up yourself.
| Founder Plan | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $497/month, self-serve | Custom (speak to HighLevel) |
| Platform features | Full Founder feature set | "Full feature set of HighLevel highest available platform subscription plan" |
| Dedicated customer success and account manager | No | Yes |
| Dedicated Slack channel, quarterly business reviews, enterprise reporting | No | Yes |
| Premium support | Add-on ($500/month); Founder Support Plan details to come | Included |
| White-label mobile app | Add-on ($497/month) | Included |
| HIPAA compliance | Not included | Included |
| Higher API limits, custom development | No | By request |
For most agencies, the Founder Plan is the right top tier. Enterprise starts to make sense when you'd be paying for premium support, the white-label app and HIPAA separately anyway, or when you need a dedicated team.
Founder Plan vs Agency Pro: what actually changed?
The price and the core features are the same. The Founder Plan keeps everything Agency Pro had (SaaS Mode, rebilling with markup, advanced API access) and adds the Founder-only feature set, the Founders Club, Partner Network eligibility, the $20 AI Starter plan for clients and the new founder perks.
| Agency Pro (before 27 Oct 2026) | Founder Plan (from 27 Oct 2026) | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $497/month, $4,970/year | $497/month, $4,970/year |
| Earlier names | SaaS Pro, Pro plan | Founder Plan |
| SaaS Mode, automated sub-accounts | Yes | Yes |
| Rebilling with markup | Yes | Yes |
| Advanced API access, user reports | Yes | Yes |
| Industries, Workflow Maps, Custom Navs, Events, Project Management, Ticketing, Meeting Rooms, Loyalty, A2P Console | Not exclusive to the plan | Founder-only (status varies) |
| $20 AI Employee Starter plan for clients | Didn't exist | Founder-only |
| Founders Club, Partner Network, AdFuel, payment commissions, Founder Support Plan | No | Yes (most announced, terms to come) |
| What existing customers need to do | — | Nothing. You transition automatically |
If you're on Agency Pro today: don't cancel and don't open a new account. Existing $497 customers move to the Founder Plan automatically and keep everything they already use.
Certified Admin? Check your inbox first
On LevelUp Day, HighLevel emailed invited Certified Admins an exclusive offer: the Founder Plan for $97/month for the first 12 months, then $497/month. The offer runs until 31 December 2026, is only for eligible recipients of the invitation and isn't transferable.
If you're a HighLevel Certified Admin, look for an email from HighLevel's Certifications team titled "BREAKING NEWS, LIVE FROM LEVELUP!" (sent 27 October 2026). The invitation we received offered:
- The Founder Plan at $97/month for your first 12 months, then the standard $497/month. HighLevel puts the first-year saving at $4,800.
- Ends 31 December 2026.
- Eligible recipients only, and not transferable.
- Your Certified Admin credential already satisfies the Builder Exam for the Partner Program.
Use the link in your own email to claim it, not a general sign-up link. If you're not certified yet, the Certified Admin program is free, and it's worth doing anyway if you want to join the Partner Network.
What the $497 doesn't cover
The $497 is the platform fee only. Phone calls, SMS, email sending, AI agents, the white-label mobile app, premium support and other add-ons are charged separately, usually through your agency wallet. On the Founder Plan you can mark most usage up and pass it on to clients.
Plan for these before you set client prices:
- Usage. Phone, SMS and email are charged on usage through your agency wallet. LC Email is $0.675 per 1,000 emails. Phone rates vary by country.
- AI agents. Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI and Managed Agents are paid through an AI Employee plan or pay-per-use. Phone charges still apply to Voice AI calls.
- Add-ons. These include the white-label mobile app ($497/month), premium support ($500/month), SEO powered by Search Atlas ($79/month per sub-account), WhatsApp ($10/month per sub-account) and WordPress hosting (from $10/month per site).
- Your own time. Training, set-up and support aren't free just because the software is.
The good news: on the Founder Plan you can rebill most usage with markup, so it becomes margin rather than cost.
The $20 AI Employee Starter plan explained
AI Employee Starter costs US$20 a month per client sub-account, and only agencies on the $497 Founder Plan can offer it. It covers the AI assistants (Ask AI, AI Studio and Creator Studio) using standard models. It doesn't include Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI or Managed Agents, which are billed separately.
| AI Employee plan | Price (USD/month per sub-account) | What's included | Who can use it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $20 | Ask AI, AI Studio and Creator Studio, standard models. AI agents billed separately | Founder Plan agencies only |
| Growth | $50 | 2x Starter usage of the AI assistants, plus generous limits across the full AI suite | Eligible sub-accounts on all agency plans |
| Unlimited | $97 | 5x Starter usage of the assistants, plus unlimited Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI and Content AI (fair use) | Eligible sub-accounts on all agency plans |
| Pay-per-use | No monthly fee | Billed on usage | All |
Why it matters. Before this, a client who just wanted help writing emails, social posts and website copy with AI had to pay $50 or more, or pay per use. At $20 a month, AI becomes something you can build into every client package.
How to package it. Don't sell AI as a confusing extra. Build it into your tiers. For example, an "Essentials" plan might include the $20 Starter AI plan, and a "Growth" plan might include AI Employee Growth plus one AI agent. Then set your rebilling markup in agency settings so usage beyond the plan is covered.
Who the Founder Plan is for, and who it isn't for
It's for agencies and consultants with paying clients, SaaS founders selling HighLevel under their own brand, and niche agencies who want Industries. It isn't for a single business marketing itself, a new agency with no clients yet, or anyone who only needs more sub-accounts.
The Founder Plan is a good fit if you...
- sell (or want to sell) HighLevel as your own software. SaaS Mode and automated sub-account creation are the reason this tier exists.
- have clients using phone, SMS, email or AI. Rebilling with markup turns usage into margin.
- serve one industry such as home services, restaurants or coaching, and want HighLevel Industries.
- want to include AI in every client package, using the $20 Starter plan.
- want to join the HighLevel Partner Network and are happy to sit the exams.
- manage a team and need user reports, Workflow Maps for audits, and project management.
Stay on a cheaper plan if you...
- run one business and use HighLevel for your own marketing. Starter ($97) covers up to three sub-accounts.
- are a new agency with no paying clients yet. Start on Starter or Unlimited, win clients, then upgrade. (Certified Admins: check the offer above first.)
- only need more sub-accounts and don't plan to resell software or mark up usage. Unlimited ($297) gives you unlimited sub-accounts.
- are buying it for perks that are still "announced". Payment commissions and AdFuel don't have published terms yet, and Partner matches aren't guaranteed. Decide based on what's live.
Is the Founder Plan worth it? The ROI maths
If you're on Unlimited, the upgrade costs $200 a month. At an illustrative $97/month per SaaS client, three paying SaaS sub-accounts cover that. Six cover the full $497. Rebilling margin and the $20 AI plan can shorten that, but your numbers depend on your pricing, churn and costs.
These are illustrative calculations, not predictions or promises. Your results will be different, and there's no guarantee you'll make money.
Assumptions (illustrative): card and payment processing fees, GST and other taxes are ignored; phone, SMS, email and AI usage is rebilled at cost or with markup, so it doesn't eat into your plan price; your time for set-up and support isn't counted (in real life, it should be).
Break-even on the plan price
| Your SaaS price per client (illustrative) | Clients to cover the $200 upgrade from Unlimited | Clients to cover the full $497 |
|---|---|---|
| $49/month | 5 ($245) | 11 ($539) |
| $97/month | 3 ($291) | 6 ($582) |
| $197/month | 2 ($394) | 3 ($591) |
| $297/month | 1 ($297) | 2 ($594) |
Clients needed = monthly cost ÷ your price per client, rounded up.
Adding the $20 AI Starter plan
Say you build the $20 AI Employee Starter plan into a $127/month package. You keep $107 per client before other costs, so you'd need 2 clients to cover the $200 upgrade and 5 to cover the full $497. The AI plan doesn't pay for itself. It gives clients a reason to choose a higher package.
Adding rebilling markup
Say your clients' phone, SMS and email usage totals $300 a month at cost, and you set a 20% markup (both illustrative). That's $60 a month in margin you couldn't charge on Unlimited, almost a third of the $200 gap.
My honest view
If you already have five or more clients on monthly retainers, the Founder Plan usually earns its keep through SaaS Mode and rebilling alone. If you have no clients yet, it's a cost, not an investment, until you do. And don't count announced perks (payment commissions, AdFuel, Partner matches) in your maths until the terms are published.
SaaS pricing calculator
At an illustrative $97/month per SaaS client, 10 clients bring in $970 a month, or $473 after the $497 plan. At $197 per client, 10 clients leave $1,473. These figures are before usage, payment fees, tax, support time and churn.
Monthly SaaS revenue minus the $497 plan (illustrative). Before usage (rebilled), payment fees, tax, support time and churn.
| Paying SaaS clients | at $97 /client | at $197 /client | at $297 /client |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | $485 − $497 = −$12 | $985 − $497 = $488 | $1,485 − $497 = $988 |
| 10 | $970 − $497 = $473 | $1,970 − $497 = $1,473 | $2,970 − $497 = $2,473 |
| 25 | $2,425 − $497 = $1,928 | $4,925 − $497 = $4,428 | $7,425 − $497 = $6,928 |
| 50 | $4,850 − $497 = $4,353 | $9,850 − $497 = $9,353 | $14,850 − $497 = $14,353 |
| 100 | $9,700 − $497 = $9,203 | $19,700 − $497 = $19,203 | $29,700 − $497 = $29,203 |
How to use it. Find your realistic client count in 12 months, not your hopeful one. Then subtract what each client costs you to support. A $97 client who needs two hours of help a month may be worth less than a $297 client who needs one. These figures are arithmetic, not a forecast. Earnings depend on your effort and market, and results vary.
What 100+ SaaS sub-accounts taught me about this plan
The plan pays when SaaS Mode does the onboarding and billing for you, when one niche offer is packaged tightly, and when usage is rebilled from day one. It doesn't pay when every client is a custom build or when usage costs land on your card instead of theirs.
I'm receiving HighLevel's Gold SaaSPRENEUR Award at this LevelUp for passing 100 SaaS sub-accounts. Some general lessons from getting there:
- SaaS Mode is the whole point. The jump from a handful of clients to 100+ sub-accounts only works when sign-up, account creation, logins and billing happen without you. If you're onboarding each client by hand, you're running an agency on a SaaS plan, not a SaaS.
- Package one offer for one niche first. A snapshot, a price and a promise for one type of business is far easier to sell, support and improve than a menu of everything HighLevel can do.
- Turn rebilling on before your first client, not after your first bill. It's much easier to set expectations up front than to start charging for usage later.
- Support load decides your margin. Custom Navs, onboarding videos and (soon) Custom Onboarding exist to cut "where do I find...?" questions. Use them.
- Churn matters more than sign-ups. The calculator above only works if clients stay.
Your results will be different. These are lessons, not promises.
Five Founder Plan use cases by industry
The Founder Plan pays off when one feature solves a specific client problem. Examples include Industries for home-services and restaurant clients, Events and Meeting Rooms for coaches, SaaS Mode with the $20 AI plan for a niche SaaS, and Workflow Maps and User Reports for agencies with teams.
These are illustrative examples, not client stories. They show how each Founder feature could be used.
1. Home services agency: Industries for tradies (illustrative)
Picture a two-person agency in Brisbane with 12 plumbing and electrical clients. Each client juggles HighLevel for leads plus a separate job-management app.
- Founder features used: HighLevel Industries (Job Creation, Field Management, geo-optimised Job Routing), rebilling with markup on SMS.
- How it works: leads come in through the client's website and Google Business Profile, turn into jobs, and get routed to the nearest technician. Appointment reminders go out by SMS, rebilled at a small markup.
- Why it matters: one platform instead of two. The agency becomes harder to replace because it runs the client's operations, not just their marketing.
- Watch out: Industries is rolling out. Pilot it with one friendly client before you move anyone off their current job software.
2. Restaurant marketing agency: menus, reservations and loyalty (illustrative)
Picture an agency in Melbourne that looks after eight cafés and restaurants.
- Founder features used: Industries for restaurants (Reservations, Menu Creator, Order Management), Loyalty & Rewards, the $20 AI Employee Starter plan.
- How it works: each venue takes bookings and online orders through HighLevel. A loyalty program rewards in-store check-ins. Staff use the AI assistants to write menu updates and social posts.
- Why it matters: the agency sells a "restaurant growth system" at a higher monthly fee instead of competing on social media management alone.
- Watch out: Loyalty & Rewards was in private beta at launch. Check access before you sell it.
3. Business coach: Events, Meeting Rooms and Project Management (illustrative)
Picture a Sydney business coach running workshops, group programs and one-to-one calls.
- Founder features used: Events (tickets, registrations, QR check-in), Meeting Rooms, Project Management, Industries (business coaching was named as coming next).
- How it works: the coach sells workshop tickets through Events, checks people in with the mobile app, runs coaching calls in Meeting Rooms, and tracks each client's 90-day plan in Project Management.
- Why it matters: it replaces separate ticketing, video and project tools.
- Watch out: Events was in Labs at launch, and Project Management was in beta.
4. Niche SaaS for allied health clinics: SaaS Mode and the $20 AI plan (illustrative)
Picture a founder who knows physiotherapy clinics inside out and sells a branded "clinic growth" platform to them.
- Founder features used: SaaS Mode, Custom Navs, the $20 AI Employee Starter plan, rebilling with markup, and Custom Onboarding once it ships.
- How it works: clinics sign up on the founder's website. SaaS Mode creates their account and sends logins automatically. Custom Navs hides everything except bookings, reviews, conversations and reactivation campaigns. The Starter AI plan is built into the price.
- Why it matters: this is the model that gets you to dozens, then hundreds, of sub-accounts without onboarding each one by hand. SaaS Mode is also what sits behind my own 100+ SaaS sub-accounts.
- Watch out: Custom Onboarding was "Coming Soon" at launch. Use a welcome workflow and a video until it arrives.
5. Agency with a team: Workflow Maps, User Reports and Ticketing (illustrative)
Picture an agency on the Gold Coast with 40 sub-accounts and four staff, including two offshore VAs.
- Founder features used: Workflow Maps, User Reports, Ticketing, the A2P Console (for its US clients), Project Management.
- How it works: before taking over a new client account, the team maps every workflow to find broken triggers and duplicates. User Reports show who's handling calls and conversations. Client requests become tickets instead of WhatsApp messages.
- Why it matters: fewer dropped balls, faster handovers, and proof of work for each client.
- Watch out: Ticketing was announced on stage, so check it's live on your account before you promise it.
How to sign up for the Founder Plan, step by step
Open HighLevel's sign-up page, choose the $497 Founder Plan, start the 14-day free trial, set up your agency account, then test one complete client workflow before the trial ends. Existing HighLevel customers should upgrade in Settings → Billing instead of opening a new account.
New to HighLevel? Screens can change, so follow what HighLevel shows you at checkout.
- Start the free trial. Open HighLevel's sign-up page and choose the $497 Founder Plan. The trial is 14 days. Read the trial and billing terms at checkout.
- Choose monthly or annual. Annual is $4,970 a year (about two months free). Many people start monthly, then switch once they're sure.
- Create your agency account. Use your business name and branding. This is the account your clients will see, so set up white-label branding early.
- Turn on the Founder features you'll actually use. Check Labs in your agency settings for opt-in features such as Custom Navs and Events. Industries is chosen per sub-account.
- Build one complete client journey. Capture a lead, follow up automatically, book an appointment and send a reminder. If that works end to end, you've proved the platform for your use case.
- Set up SaaS Mode and rebilling if you plan to resell. Decide your plans, prices and markup before your first client signs up.
- Decide before day 14. If the Founder features aren't earning their keep yet, choose a cheaper plan and upgrade later.
How to upgrade from Starter or Unlimited
Log in to your agency account, go to Settings → Billing, and change your plan to the $497 Founder Plan. You upgrade the account you already have. If you're already on the $497 Agency Pro plan, there's nothing to do: you move across automatically.
- Log in as an agency admin (app.gohighlevel.com/settings/billing takes you straight there).
- Open Settings → Billing in your agency view.
- Choose the Founder Plan ($497) and check the price, billing date and any proration shown before you confirm. Certified Admins: use the link in your invitation email instead.
- Turn on what you upgraded for. Set your rebilling markup, configure SaaS Mode, and enable the $20 AI Starter plan for the clients who need it.
- Tell your team what's changed, especially if you're turning on Custom Navs or Ticketing that clients will see.
Important: don't cancel your account and sign up again to "start fresh" or to switch affiliate links. You risk losing your set-up, and it isn't allowed under HighLevel's affiliate rules. Upgrade the account you have.
Your first 30 days on the Founder Plan: a checklist
Week 1: set rebilling markup, wallet top-ups and branding. Week 2: build your SaaS plans and snapshot. Week 3: switch on the Founder features you'll sell and the $20 AI plan. Week 4: apply to the Partner Network, audit accounts with Workflow Maps, and review your numbers.
Week 1: money and foundations
- ☐ Set your rebilling markup for phone, SMS, email and AI in agency settings.
- ☐ Set agency wallet auto-recharge so usage never stalls a client's campaigns.
- ☐ Finish white-label branding: domain, logo, colours, login page.
- ☐ Check A2P status for any US clients in the A2P Console.
Week 2: your SaaS offer
- ☐ Decide two or three SaaS plans with prices (use the calculator above).
- ☐ Build or polish one niche snapshot for your main offer.
- ☐ Set up SaaS Mode: plans, features per plan, the checkout page, and usage billing.
- ☐ Do a test sign-up yourself and check the client gets their account, logins and welcome emails.
Week 3: Founder features
- ☐ Decide which clients get the $20 AI Employee Starter plan and build it into your packages.
- ☐ Opt in to Custom Navs (Labs) and simplify the menu for one client type.
- ☐ Pilot Industries with one friendly restaurant or home-services client, if you serve those niches.
- ☐ Move client requests into Project Management or Ticketing where they're available on your account.
Week 4: growth and review
- ☐ Join the Founders Club and the Partner Program; book your Builder, Advisor and AI Implementation exams.
- ☐ Run Workflow Maps on your three oldest client accounts and fix broken or duplicate workflows.
- ☐ Check User Reports for your team.
- ☐ Review your numbers: new SaaS revenue, rebilling margin and AI costs against the $497.
Common mistakes and gotchas
The common mistakes are forgetting usage costs, not setting rebilling markup, cancelling Agency Pro to re-sign, selling features that are still in beta, budgeting for announced perks, and paying monthly when you're committed for a year.
- Thinking $497 is the whole bill. Phone, SMS, email and AI agents are charged on usage. If rebilling isn't set up, they land on your agency wallet.
- Leaving rebilling at cost. On the Founder Plan you can mark usage up. Leaving it at cost leaves margin on the table, and it's the one feature Unlimited can't match.
- Mixing up the two $497 products. The white-label mobile app is a separate $497/month add-on. It isn't included in the Founder Plan.
- Cancelling to "re-join" as a Founder. Existing $497 customers move across automatically. Cancelling risks your set-up.
- Selling features that aren't live on your account. Events and Custom Navs were in Labs, Project Management and Loyalty in beta, Ticketing only announced, and Custom Onboarding and the Email Health Console "Coming Soon". Check before you put them in a proposal.
- Counting on announced perks. Payment commissions, AdFuel and Partner matches have no published terms or guarantees yet. Don't build your budget around them.
- Paying monthly when you're in for the year. Annual billing saves $994. If you're sure, it's two months free.
- Missing the Certified Admin offer. If you're certified, check your inbox before paying full price. It ends 31 December 2026.
- Expecting "most free AI" to mean unlimited AI. Agency AI assistants have fair-use limits in five-hour windows, and AI agents are always paid.
- Forgetting the exchange rate. Prices are in US dollars. Australian, NZ and other non-US customers should factor in currency conversion and card fees.
HighLevel Founder Plan FAQs
What is the HighLevel Founder Plan?
The Founder Plan is HighLevel's top self-serve plan at US$497 a month, formerly Agency Pro. It includes everything in the $297 Unlimited plan, plus SaaS Mode, rebilling with markup, advanced API access, an exclusive Founder feature set, the Founders Club and Partner Network eligibility. HighLevel launched it at LevelUp 2026 on 27 October 2026.
Is it called the Founder Plan or the Founders Plan?
HighLevel's official name is the Founder Plan. Many people wrote "Founders Plan" or "Founder's Plan" before launch. They all mean the same $497 plan.
Is GoHighLevel the same as HighLevel?
Yes. HighLevel is the company and platform. GoHighLevel and GHL are names many people use for it, and gohighlevel.com is its website. The GoHighLevel Founder Plan and the HighLevel Founder Plan are the same thing.
How much does the GoHighLevel Founder Plan cost?
The Founder Plan costs US$497 a month, or US$4,970 a year if you pay annually, which saves $994 compared with paying monthly. Usage such as phone, SMS, email and AI agents is charged separately, and on this plan you can rebill it to clients with a markup.
Is the Founder Plan the same as Agency Pro or SaaS Pro?
Yes. It's the same $497 tier with a new name and more features. The plan was called SaaS Pro, then Agency Pro, and became the Founder Plan at LevelUp 2026. Some pages and older articles still say Agency Pro.
Will existing Agency Pro customers move to the Founder Plan automatically?
Yes. Existing $497 Agency Pro customers automatically transition to the Founder Plan. You keep the features you already use and gain new ones as they roll out. You don't need to cancel or open a new account.
Is there a free trial of the Founder Plan?
Yes. There's a 14-day free trial on the Founder Plan, as there is on Starter and Unlimited. Check the trial and billing terms at checkout before you enter your card details.
Is there a Founder Plan discount?
There's no general discount. Annual billing ($4,970) saves about two months. HighLevel also emailed invited Certified Admins an exclusive offer of $97/month for the first 12 months, ending 31 December 2026, for eligible recipients only.
What's the difference between the Founder Plan and the $297 Unlimited plan?
Both include unlimited sub-accounts, contacts and users, and white-labelling. The Founder Plan adds SaaS Mode, rebilling with markup (Unlimited rebills at cost only), AI Employee rebilling, advanced API access, user reports, the Founder feature set, the $20 AI Starter plan for clients, the Founders Club and Partner Network eligibility. It costs $200 a month more.
What's the difference between the Founder Plan and Enterprise?
The Founder Plan is $497/month and self-serve. Enterprise is custom-priced and adds a dedicated customer success and account manager, a dedicated Slack channel, quarterly business reviews, premium support, the white-label mobile app, HIPAA compliance, and higher API limits and custom development by request.
Is the HighLevel Founder Plan worth it?
It's worth it if you resell HighLevel as software, have clients with phone, SMS, email or AI usage you can mark up, or want Founder-only features like Industries. At an illustrative $97/month per SaaS client, three clients cover the $200 upgrade from Unlimited. If you don't have clients yet, start on a cheaper plan.
How many sub-accounts does the Founder Plan include?
Unlimited. The Founder Plan includes everything in the Unlimited plan, so there's no cap on client sub-accounts, contacts or users.
Does the Founder Plan include white-label?
Yes. White-labelling (your domain, branding and login) is included from the Unlimited plan up. The branded white-label mobile app is a separate $497/month add-on and isn't included.
Do I need the Founder Plan to use HighLevel Industries?
Yes. HighLevel's industry-specific solutions are exclusive to the Founder Plan. Restaurants (reservations, menus, order management) and home services (jobs, field management, job routing) came first, with business coaching named as coming next.
What is the $20 AI Employee Starter plan?
It's an AI plan for client sub-accounts at US$20 a month each, and only Founder Plan agencies can use it. It covers the AI assistants (Ask AI, AI Studio and Creator Studio) using standard models. AI agents such as Conversation AI and Voice AI are billed separately or come with the $50 Growth and $97 Unlimited AI plans.
Does the Founder Plan include unlimited AI?
No. Agency users get the AI assistants free, subject to fair use, and the Founder Plan gets the biggest allowance plus advanced Creator Studio models. AI agents such as Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI and Managed Agents are paid on every plan.
Are all Founder Plan features available now?
No. Some are live and more are rolling out. SaaS Mode, rebilling with markup, Workflow Maps, Meeting Rooms and the A2P Console were live at launch. Custom Navs and Events were in Labs, Project Management and Loyalty were in beta, and Custom Onboarding and the Email Health Console were marked "Coming Soon".
What is the HighLevel Founders Club?
The Founders Club is an online community for Founder Plan customers, with weekly live streams, masterminds, challenges and contests. It was announced on stage at LevelUp 2026 alongside Founder meetups at HighLevel's Dallas and Dubai offices.
Who can join the HighLevel Partner Network?
Anyone on the $497 Founder Plan can apply, as an individual Expert or a Solutions Provider company. You must pass three exams: Builder, Advisor and AI Implementation. Certified Admins have been told their credential satisfies the Builder Exam. Personalised matching is planned to begin in January 2027.
Does the HighLevel Partner Network guarantee me clients?
No. Businesses that sign up directly on the $97 plan are matched with five Partners based on factors such as location, language, business size and industry, and the business chooses who to work with. Buying the Founder Plan doesn't guarantee acceptance into the network or any matches.
What are Founder payment commissions?
Founders will be eligible for commissions on payments made through HighLevel's new native payment provider. On stage, Varun Vairavan set a goal of sharing about 40% of HighLevel's payments profit with founders each month. The written terms weren't published at launch, so don't count on a rate yet.
What is HighLevel AdFuel?
AdFuel is HighLevel's program to pay for ads that promote eligible founders' businesses in their local market. On stage, HighLevel said it starts on social channels, and you'll be able to make your own ads in Creator Studio. Eligibility and timing are still to be confirmed.
Can I rebill with markup on the Unlimited plan?
No. Rebilling with markup is only available on the $497 Founder Plan, as part of SaaS Mode. The $297 Unlimited plan can rebill phone and email at cost, with no markup. AI Employee usage can only be rebilled on the $497 plan.
Is the $497 Founder Plan the same as the $497 white-label mobile app?
No. They just cost the same. The Founder Plan is your HighLevel subscription. The white-label mobile app is a separate $497/month add-on that puts your brand on the mobile app your clients download.
Can I upgrade from Starter or Unlimited to the Founder Plan?
Yes. Log in as an agency admin, go to Settings → Billing and change your plan to the $497 Founder Plan. You upgrade the account you already have rather than opening a new one. Check the price and billing date shown before you confirm.
Is the Founder Plan priced in Australian dollars?
No. HighLevel lists its plan prices in US dollars, so Australian customers pay US$497 a month. Your bank may add foreign transaction fees, so check your card's terms.
